Avv. Luisa Mazzola
Born in Milan in 1958. She graduated with honors in Law from the Università degli Studi di Pavia (University of Pavia) in 1983, she is a member of the Milan Bar and she is qualified to plead in the higher courts.
She started practicing in the criminal law domain in 1983 at the De Longhi – Mazzola law firm, where she focused her practice mainly on legal cases in the areas of libel, industrial accidents and economic criminal law: in the 1990s she acted as counsel in the big judicial anti-corruption investigation known as “Mani Pulite”.
She joined the Firm in 2000, collaborating with Francesco Mucciarelli and focusing mainly on criminal law in relation to bankruptcy, tax, banking, corporate issues, as well as to protection of financial markets and offences against the public administration.
She has extensive experience in the criminal law domain, both in court and with regard to out-of-court advice. As a matter of fact, she has also gained significant experience in matters related to negligent disasters in railway and air transport, as well as in corruption and trade fraud issues, working for many companies operating in diverse sectors (fashion, oil & gas, distribution and advertising)
She has lectured criminal procedure courses at the Università degli Studi di Parma (University of Parma) and at the Department of Forensic Medicine of the Università degli Studi di Milano (University of Milan). She has also lectured on criminal law subjects at the lawyers’ workshops organized by the Milan Bar Association.
