Avv. Barbara Bonzano

Born in Milan in 1967. She graduated from the Università degli Studi di Milano (University of Milan) in 1992 with a thesis on Criminal Procedure. She is qualified to plead before the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation; she started her traineeship at the law firm of Avv. Domenico Contestabile in 1993. In 1996 she moved on to collaborate with the law firm of Avv.ti Guardamagna, Malcovati, Moro Visconti Associati.

She joined the Firm in 2002: within the framework of criminal law subjects, she has focused her practice especially on commercial criminal law (corporate, bankruptcy, tax offences), environmental crimes and criminal labor law; she has gained specific expertise in the area of occupational diseases. She has engaged and engages in proceedings for offences against the Public Administration, administrative corporate liability and medical liability.

Since 1999 she has been a member of the editorial staff of the journal “Il foro ambrosiano”; since 2010 she has been one of the authors of the “Commentario sistematico al codice di procedura penale” – Ed. La Tribuna.

From academic year 2011 to 2014 she was a member of the Management and Organizational Board of the “Corso di tecnica e deontologia dell’avvocato penalista” (Course in technique and professional ethics of criminal lawyers) organized by the Gian Domenico Pisapia Criminal Bar Association, Milan.
